Conditions of Booking
TO MAKE A BOOKING
To secure a reservation at Cedar Break we require a deposit of UKP 100.00, and the balance should be paid 4 weeks in advance of your arrival date. Please post a cheque, payable to Mrs Randi McKenna or if you prefer we can charge your credit card. Credit cards are accepted with
a £3.00 charge per transaction. We require your full name, home
address and the best contact telephone number to secure a reservation.
Advance Bookings
We receive many requests for accommodation from all around the
world and respectfully remind guests that a confirmed reservation and
request
for accommodation constitutes a contract between themselves and Cedar Break Holiday Home, Fort William.
Deposits and Payment
Any confirmed bookings cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date will
be charged for in full, unless we can relet the accommodation to another
guest.
Overseas Guests
You can secure a booking by email if you provide your credit card details
(in two separate emails if you are concerned about security). We require
you to instruct us by email, to charge your credit card for a deposit
and to state that you understand you will be charged if through cancellation,
we are unable to re-sell the accommodation. We will require your full
name, postal address and home telephone number. We can send you a PayPal invoice if you prefer.
A UKP 3.00 charge is
made on all credit card transactions.
Looking after the property
It is a condition of renting Cedar Break that a member of your group takes 100% responsibility for the condition of the property during your stay and for its fittings and furnishings, and the general behaviour of those staying in Cedar Break.
Smokers
Cedar Break is strictly NO SMOKING full stop. Smokers can smoke outside in the yard, away from the house, provided they dispose of cigarette ends considerately.
Cancellation Insurance
Whilst we appreciate advance bookings and reservations from guests, we
recognise that circumstances can change and do cause people to change
their plans. We therefore strongly recommend you take out travel/vacation/cancellation
insurance.
We hate to be so formal, but we have been let down by people who were less than fair to us. If you have any questions regarding these details you are most welcome to email us.
