Your cottage provided an excellent base for our vacation - comfortable and well-equipped and a cosy shelter from the rain! Managed to avoid some of the worst weather with the help of the BBC forecast. Thoroughly enjoyed the walks in Glen Nevis, the Jacobite train, Inverness and stops en-route. Made it to Skye and miraculously saw the Cuillins clearly on a beautiful, sunny day. Didn't make 1 hour to the summit of Ben Nevis this time! The Highlands are a beautiful area of Scotland even thou it is a bit damp.

We have had a lovely week, managing to do things we had planned, walking along the Caledonian Canal and up Ben Nevis. But also things we hadn't planned a trip to Skye, the train journey to Mallaig and the mountain gondola. It has been a fantastic week with very good weather. This has been a amazing holiday, the lodge with it's wonderful views has made it perfect. This is the first time we have shared accommodation, it been so easy because everything is here for our convenience. Climbing Ben Nevis was the "icing on the cake", looking forward to another visit. Thank you

Our first family visit to your beautiful part of the world has been a wonderful experience for us all. The accommodation has been great, comfortable, cosy and provided everything you could ever need, home from home. The views have been out of this world absolutely stunning. Everywhere we have been and everyone we have met have been friendly and very hospitable. We will definitely return, it's been a great holiday despite the occasional rainy day. Thank you for making our stay the most comfortable and memorable we have had in a long time.  We were rather sad to leave Cedar Lodge......waking up in such a comfortable bed followed by the sight of Ben Nevis every morning from our window unwound all of the knots that city life had wound up!  Cedar Break itself (its unparalleled location aside!) was lovely and we both felt very "at home".  Our enjoyment of the week was undoubtedly enhanced by your attention to detail for your guests, from recommending walks in the local area to the gift of chocolates upon our departure, things that we rarely experience in 5 star hotels. We both had a fantastic week, the highlight probably being climbing up Ben Nevis on New Years day (although we did only make it to 2500 feet due to the ice!).  Despite being from Scotland for twenty odd years before moving to Leeds, the Highlands never cease to amaze me.  Your hospitality allowed us to enjoy our break to the fullest.  Thank you! Wanted to get an e-mail to you first about what a great time we had staying with you. We did. Really impressed from start to finish. Over and above the facilities - which were far better than other places we had stayed - there was the feeling that you had put your heart into the place.  Next year I want to bring my kids up and take them climbing and skiing and will be very much hoping to re-book with you.  And one more thing - maybe two. I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you what a wonderful time we had last weekend while staying at Cedar Lodge. The standard of accommodation and attention to detail were superb, and was the perfect basecamp for our weekend activities.
