The Nevis Range Gondola and ski slopes can be seen from Woodside
B & B. During the summer months, Nevis Range plays host to thousands
of visitors who take a ride on the Mountain Gondola, cycle or walk
on the 2m kilometres of forest roads and cycle tracks and just generally
enjoy the mountain environment.
The Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup Championship comes to Fort William
in May and accommodation is at a premium - so don't leave it until
the last minute.
In winter the mountains are open for skiers and snow boarders via the
gondola. Visitors can also enjoy the gondola ride and the mountain
restaurant - bring the family to sledge or enjoy a fun snowball fight!
The Nevis Range gondola is lest than 10 minutes from Woodside and we
are one of the nearest bed and breakfasts to the slopes. You can see
the mountain from our webcam depending on weather.
